How to use

Mount the sensor housing and magnet on the door and frame (or window and frame) so that the magnet aligns with the reed contact when closed. Use the supplied spacer plates and flanges where necessary to achieve correct alignment and clearance. Connect the sensor cable to the alarm panel or automation input following the panel manufacturer’s wiring diagram and configure the input as a magnetic/contact sensor. Test operation by opening and closing the door or window to confirm the panel registers open and closed states.

Recommendations

Install the sensor on a clean, dry surface and use the anti-magnetic fixing screws supplied. Avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources. For reliable operation, verify alignment and secure mounting after installation and perform a functional test with your control panel.
