Why choose it

OM5 wideband multimode fiber supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM), allowing multiple wavelengths over a single fiber pair. This cable is fully compatible with 10G, 40G, 100G, 200G, and 400G Ethernet, making it a future-proof investment for high-speed networks. The lime green jacket is the industry-standard colour for OM5, ensuring quick identification and reducing installation errors.

Ideal use cases

• Data center interconnects between switches, servers, and storage
• High-performance computing clusters and SAN environments
• Enterprise backbone links requiring high bandwidth and low latency
• Telecommunications rooms and campus network upgrades

Good to know

The cable features a duplex zipcord design with two fibers, each terminated with a high-quality SC connector. SC connectors provide a push-pull latching mechanism for secure connections. The cable is built to meet rigorous performance standards, ensuring reliable operation in temperature-controlled environments. Always inspect and clean connectors before installation to maintain optimal signal quality.
