Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-22055 čierny 5 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22055 Black 5 m Cat6 U/UTP is a 5-metre Ethernet cable engineered for gigabit network connections. It supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses Category 6 wiring to maintain signal integrity over typical home and office distances. The cable employs U/UTP construction to reduce external electromagnetic interference and is terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts for reliable connection and improved wear resistance.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides consistent gigabit performance suitable for wired LAN setups. The U/UTP shielding lowers susceptibility to crosstalk and external noise, helping preserve throughput in environments with nearby electrical equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance contact reliability and reduce corrosion, while the 5 m length gives flexibility for typical desktop, router-to-switch, or network equipment connections without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and network printers to a router or switch
• Wired home network backbones and small office Ethernet links
• Streaming HD video, online gaming, and VoIP devices requiring stable gigabit connectivity
• Temporary or permanent network setups where a 5 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with an overall unshielded jacket)
• Length: 5 metres
• Maximum data rate: 1000 Mbit/s (1 Gbit/s)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to your network device (PC, switch, router or modem) and the other end to the corresponding Ethernet port of the target device. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured for Ethernet networking. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, use this Cat6 cable within its 5 m length and avoid sharp bends or kinks. If you need to route the cable through cable ducts or behind furniture, maintain a gentle bend radius and secure the cable without compressing the jacket. Replace the cable if the RJ-45 connectors or the cable jacket show visible damage.
