Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-26505 čierny 50m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-26505 Black 50m Cat6a S/FTP is a 50-metre Category 6a Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections. It features S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support reliable data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. The black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for installation in home, office, and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for demanding data applications. Cat6a specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at suitable distances, while the gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 50 m length allows flexible placement of network devices without intermediate patching, and the durable outer jacket protects the cable in standard indoor installations.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within buildings and data closets
• High-performance workstations, servers, and NAS devices
• VOIP phones, IP cameras, and networked AV equipment
• Structured cabling runs in offices, server rooms, and home networks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends
• Contact finish: Gold plating on RJ-45 contacts
• Color: Black outer jacket
• Supported applications: up to 10 Gbps Ethernet (depending on environment and installation)

How to use

Measure the required run and route the cable avoiding sharp bends and proximity to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. Terminate the cable into RJ-45 jacks or use the pre-assembled RJ-45 plugs if provided. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into network ports until they click. For structured installations, label both ends of the 50 m run for easier maintenance and documentation.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain bend radius and pull tension within manufacturer guidelines, separate from mains wiring, and test the installed link with an appropriate network cable tester to verify Cat6a performance and continuity.
