Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75717-HS čierny 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75717-HS Black 7.5 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 7.5 metre ethernet patch cable built to Cat6 performance with S/FTP (shielded/folded foil with braided drain) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs. Its shielded design reduces electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference for more stable data transfer, while the Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidths and gigabit networks. The black jacket provides a neutral, low-visibility finish suitable for office, home or studio installations.

Advantages

The cable offers improved signal integrity through S/FTP shielding and individually shielded pairs, which helps maintain consistent throughput in environments with potential interference from nearby power lines or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors increase contact reliability and corrosion resistance, ensuring stable connections over repeated insertions. A 7.5 m length balances reach and cable management, reducing the need for extensions while keeping slack manageable.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and PCs
• Structured cabling in small offices and home networks
• Audio, video and data transmission in mixed-signal environments
• Temporary or permanent patching in server racks and network cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor material: copper (solid or stranded depending on factory variation)
• Jacket colour: black
• Suitable transmission: up to 1 Gbps (Cat6 performance over typical distances)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (for example a router, switch or PC) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the remote device. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression; maintain bend radius recommended for ethernet cabling to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without over-tightening to avoid deforming the jacket or damaging internal shielding.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat6 cable in environments with potential electromagnetic interference or where higher signal integrity is required. Avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to mains power lines for extended runs; cross power cables at right angles where necessary. For installations requiring distances beyond 7.5 m or higher performance (10 Gbps), consider longer or higher-category cables according to network design requirements.
