Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat.6 S/FTP 0,25 m červený

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat.6 S/FTP 0.25 m in red is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connectivity in compact installations. Built to Cat6 performance criteria, the cable features S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair plus an overall braided shield) construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for improved signal transmission and corrosion resistance. Its 0.25 m length and vivid red jacket make it suitable for tidy connections in racks, patch panels and desktop devices where short runs and clear cable identification are needed.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed data transfer consistent with Cat6 specifications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide dependable conductivity and longer contact life. The short 0.25 m length minimizes excess cable clutter and preserves signal integrity in short link scenarios. The colored outer jacket improves visual organization in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices across short distances in server racks or network cupboards
• Patch panel to switch or switch to router short links
• Desktop or workstation Ethernet connections with limited space
• Cable management where color-coding is used for identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around pairs plus overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Jacket color: Red

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the cable to connect switches, patch panels, routers or networked devices across short distances. Avoid tight bends at the connector ends and do not strain the cable; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius appropriate for networking cables. For rack installations, route the cable through cable management panels to prevent stress on connectors and to keep the red cable visible for identification.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded environments to take full advantage of its shielding. Keep the cable away from high-power mains cables and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Replace the cable if the connectors show signs of wear or if the jacket is damaged.
