Sieťová zásuvka 2 x RJ-45 ShiverPeaks S/CONN 74280-O Cat6a 500 MHz oranžová kov matná

ShiverPeaks S/CONN 74280-O is a dual-port RJ-45 socket outlet designed for Category 6a structured cabling. The module supports up to 500 MHz bandwidth and is intended for permanent installation in network outlets where high-speed Ethernet and reliable signal performance are required. The housing is metal with a matt orange finish, supplied as a single unit suitable for flush mounting into standard faceplates or wall boxes used in offices, data centres and telecom environments.

Advantages

The socket-outlet provides two Cat6a-rated RJ-45 ports with support for frequencies up to 500 MHz, enabling high data throughput and improved performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. The metal matt orange housing offers mechanical durability and improved electromagnetic shielding compared with plastic enclosures. Supplied as a complete single piece, the unit simplifies installation and reduces the need for additional adaptors or modules.

Suitable for

• Office network outlets for high-speed wired connections
• Data centre patching and cabinet installations
• Telecommunications rooms and structured cabling backbones
• Environments requiring durable, shielded network ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45 ports
• Performance class: Category 6a, up to 500 MHz
• Housing material and finish: metal, matt orange
• Installation: flush-mounted socket outlet format for faceplates or wall boxes
• Units supplied: single module

How to use

Mount the socket-outlet into a compatible faceplate or wall box following local installation standards. Terminate the incoming Cat6a cabling to the connector according to the T568A or T568B wiring scheme and verify pair integrity and continuity before final assembly. After termination, secure the module in the faceplate and connect patch leads to the RJ-45 ports to integrate the outlet into the network. Use appropriate tools for shielded connectors and ensure proper grounding where required to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Test the installed links with a certified cable tester to confirm Category 6a performance up to 500 MHz and validate return loss, NEXT and insertion loss parameters. For optimal longevity and signal integrity, use compatible Category 6a shielded patch cords and maintain proper bend radii when routing cables.
