Sieťový kábel Digitus CAT 6 S/FTP 10 m žltý

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 S/FTP, 10 m, Yellow is a Category 6 patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems. It features S/FTP shielding, copper conductors and LSZH outer sheath for reduced smoke and improved fire behavior. The cable is PoE+ ready and certified to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 standards, with tested performance up to 250 MHz.

Advantages

The cable uses copper conductors and S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable data transfer. A transparent red-coloured RJ-45 plug with metal shielding identifies Category 6 performance while providing durable contact. The LSZH sheath reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire. The moulded boot includes kink protection, strain relief and a latch protector to prevent connector damage during installation and use.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections in offices and homes
• Network equipment requiring PoE+ (Power over Ethernet)
• Structured cabling installations demanding Category 6 performance
• Environments where low-smoke halogen-free jackets are required

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173, Category 6 (Class E)
• Frequency range: Tested up to 250 MHz
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually screened pairs)
• Conductor: Copper (Cu)
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45, metal-shielded transparent red plug
• Length: 10 m
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Color: Yellow
• PoE compatibility: PoE+
• Weight: 0.29 kg

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs on both ends to compatible network devices or patch panels, ensuring secure insertion until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; use the integrated strain relief and kink protection in the molded boot to protect the connector area. For structured cabling, observe channel and patch panel wiring practices and keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this DIGITUS CAT 6 S/FTP 10 m cable for horizontal or patch connections where Category 6 performance and low-smoke LSZH jacket are required. Avoid tight bending radii and exposure to mechanical stress to maintain tested performance up to 250 MHz.
