Sieťový kábel EFB Elektronik K8704.15 RJ-45 Cat5e 15 m modrý

The EFB Elektronik K8704.15 RJ-45 Cat5e 15 m Blue networking cable is a shielded S/UTP patch cable built for standard Ethernet connections up to Gigabit speeds. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a 15 meter length, this Cat5e cable is intended for linking switches, routers, computers and patch panels in home and office environments. The blue jacket provides clear visual identification in structured cabling installations while the shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more stable data transmission.

Advantages

This Cat5e S/UTP cable combines a 15 m reach with factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs to deliver a ready-to-use connection that supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The S/UTP shielding helps mitigate external noise and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in typical residential and small business setups. The molded boots on the connectors protect the plug strain relief and simplify insertion and removal in tight patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, printers and networked peripherals to switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch or switch to router connections in small office networks
• Home network cabling for internet, streaming and file sharing
• Temporary or semi-permanent cabling in meeting rooms and workspaces

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: S/UTP (screened/UTP)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, molded boots
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Color: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between the two network devices, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks. For installations within patch panels or cable management systems, ensure the cable is supported along its run to prevent strain on the connectors. No termination or additional tools are required for use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs under typical length limits for structured cabling and avoid tightly coiling the cable. When deploying near power lines or heavy electrical equipment, maintain separation to minimize interference despite the S/UTP shielding. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are damaged.
