Sieťový kábel EFB Elektronik RJ-45 5 m Cat5e sivý

The EFB Elektronik RJ-45 5m Cat5e Grey networking cable provides a straightforward solution for wired Ethernet connections. Designed to meet Cat5e specifications, this 5-metre cable offers reliable data transmission between devices with RJ-45 ports. The grey outer sheath supplies a neutral appearance suitable for home or office installations while maintaining flexibility for routing and placement.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable supports standard Ethernet speeds defined for the category, ensuring stable connections for common network tasks. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends, it enables plug-and-play setup without additional adapters. The 5 m length balances reach and manageability, reducing the need for intermediate patching while allowing flexible device positioning. The cable jacket in grey resists visible dirt and blends into many environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers and laptops to routers or switches
• Linking network printers, NAS devices, or IP cameras to a local network
• Temporary or permanent cabling in home offices and small business networks
• Patch connections within structured cabling or network racks where a 5 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey
• Suitable for Ethernet networking and standard data transmission

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to a router, switch, or modem. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable and keep it separated from high-power electrical cabling to reduce interference. If routing through walls or conduits, verify that the cable jacket meets local installation requirements.

Recommendations

For consistent network performance, use this Cat5e cable for installations up to 5 metres where Cat5e-rated speeds meet your requirements. For higher bandwidth needs or installations longer than 5 metres, consider upgrading to Cat6 or higher-category cables. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show wear that could affect signal quality.
