Sieťový kábel Extralink Twisted Pair CAT5E FTP (F/UTP) V2 Outdoor 305M Čierny

Extralink Twisted pair CAT5E FTP (F/UTP) V2 Outdoor is a 305 m black FTP (F/UTP) network cable intended for outdoor installations. The cable consists of four twisted pairs of 24 AWG pure copper conductors with PE insulation (pair diameter 0.97 mm). An aluminum foil shield surrounds the pairs and an additional grounding conductor is included to improve protection against electromagnetic interference and grounding continuity.

Advantages

The cable provides FTP (F/UTP) shielding that reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data transmission. Pure copper 24 AWG conductors ensure good conductivity, while PE insulation and a black outer jacket increase durability for outdoor exposure. The included grounding conductor facilitates proper shielding termination and grounding.

Suitable for

• Outdoor Ethernet runs and backbone cabling
• Connecting switches, routers and network devices at up to Gigabit speeds
• Environments where additional shielding is required to limit interference

Key specifications

• Cable type: FTP (F/UTP) – foil shielded pairs with drain conductor
• Standard: Cat5e, suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 305 m
• Conductor: solid pure copper, 24 AWG
• Pair insulation diameter: 0.97 mm
• Colour: Black
• Connectors: none (bulk cable)

How to use

Route the cable along the planned outdoor path, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Terminate the cable ends with appropriate RJ45 connectors or patch panels designed for solid-core Cat5e cable and ensure the foil shield is properly tied to the drain/grounding conductor when attaching to shielded connectors or grounding points. Follow local wiring standards for outdoor installations and protective conduits where required.

Recommendations

For outdoor deployments, use UV-resistant conduit or protective trunking and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines. Ensure the foil shield and drain conductor are correctly grounded at one end to preserve shielding effectiveness and prevent ground loops.
