Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0,25 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0.25 m networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. With S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this white Cat6a cable provides the physical link between network devices while reducing electromagnetic interference. Its 0.25 m length is suited to close-proximity connections in rack setups, patch panels, switches and desktop networking where minimal cable slack is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines individual foil shielding around each twisted pair with an overall braided shield, improving protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives. Cat6a specification support enables consistent performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs. The compact 0.25 m length reduces cable clutter and helps maintain tidy cable management in dense installations. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting switch to patch panel in server racks
• Linking adjacent network devices in telecom cabinets
• Short desktop connections between PC and wall outlet or switch
• Clean, discreet cabling in home lab or small office setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individual pair foil)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: White
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, up to 10 Gbps over short distances

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of each device until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal signal integrity, avoid sharp bends and do not stretch the cable; keep the bend radius gentle and route the cable away from high-power electrical lines. Use the 0.25 m length where devices are closely spaced to minimize excess cable and simplify cable management. If using in rack environments, route the cable through designated patch panels or cable organizers to maintain airflow and accessibility.

Recommendations

Choose S/FTP Cat6a patch cords like this 0.25 m cable when you require reduced interference and reliable short-range 10GbE links. For longer runs between floors or across rooms, select appropriately rated longer cables and ensure end-to-end shielding compatibility within your installation.
