Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m networking cable is a 2-meter, shielded Ethernet patch cable terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed to meet Cat 6a performance levels, the cable uses S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable high-speed data transmission in office, home, and professional network installations. The cable is finished in red for easy visual identification in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables and electronic equipment. The cable’s Cat 6a specification supports higher bandwidths and faster data rates compared with lower-category cables, making it suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over shorter distances. RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide wide compatibility with networking devices such as switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management convenience for desk- and rack-level connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, and routers in office and home networks
• Patch-panel to switch or workstation connections in structured cabling setups
• Short-run 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where Cat 6a performance is required
• Environments requiring improved EMI and crosstalk protection

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your networking device until the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and physical stress; keep it away from power cables and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For patch-panel installations, insert one end into the patch panel port and the other into the switch or workstation port. Ensure connectors are fully seated and test the link speed and signal integrity with network diagnostic tools if precise performance verification is required.

Recommendations

Use the Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 2 m cable for short to medium interconnects where reliable high-speed performance and improved shielding are desired. For permanent horizontal runs or longer distances, consider in-wall rated or longer cables appropriate for building standards. Avoid excessive bending radius and mechanical strain to maintain cable performance and connector reliability.
