Sieťový kábel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 15 m

The Networking Cable Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 15m is a grey, 15-metre twisted-pair cable designed for structured Ethernet installations supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X). It features S/FTP (also described as PIMF) shielding that helps reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and it comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for straightforward connection to network devices. This cable is intended for point-to-point connections where stable, high-speed data transfer is required in home, office or small datacentre environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity over the full 15 m length. CAT6 specification enables gigabit speeds with low latency for typical LAN applications. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard switches, routers, network cards and patch panels, eliminating the need for field termination. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and end devices
• Wired home networks and office workstations
• Patch panel to switch or wall outlet to device links
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑screened pairs / PIMF)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, factory terminated
• Supported link speed: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a compatible network port on a switch, router or computer and the other RJ-45 end to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a proper contact. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For wall-mounted installations, use appropriate cable management accessories to secure the cable along its run and reduce mechanical stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable length within the specified 15 m and avoid kinking or exceeding recommended bend radius. When installing near large electrical equipment or fluorescent lighting, maintain separation to reduce potential interference. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices if connection issues occur.
