Sieťový kábel LANBERG Cat8.1 S/FTP (S-STP) 1 m RJ-45–RJ-45 sivý

LANBERG Cat8.1 network patch cable, 1 m long, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (S-STP) shielding. Designed for short-distance, high-speed LAN and server connections, the grey-jacketed cable supports up to 40,000 Mbit/s and is intended for professional network installations in data centres and server rooms.

Advantages

The S/FTP (braid plus foil on each pair) shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in dense network environments. Cat8.1 specification and 26AWG conductor (7 x 0.16 mm) provide high-frequency performance suitable for modern 25/40 Gbit/s links over short distances. Compact 1 m length and standard RJ-45 terminations simplify patching in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections in data centres
• Server-to-switch links in server rooms
• High-speed LAN backbones and uplinks
• Professional structured cabling where S/FTP shielding is required

Key specifications

• Category: 8.1
• Shielding type: S/FTP (braid + foil on each pair)
• Wire gauge: 26 AWG (7 × 0.16 mm)
• Outer diameter: 6.0 mm ± 0.2 mm
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Grey
• Manufacturer MPN: PCF8-10CU-0100-S
• EAN: 5901969437904

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device or patch panel and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the switch, server or patch panel. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid prolonged compression to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. Use the 1 m length for short-distance patching within racks or between adjacent devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 S/FTP patch cable for short links only (typical within racks). Verify connector seating and test the link with appropriate certification or testing equipment in environments requiring guaranteed 25/40 Gbit/s operation.
