Sieťový kábel Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 0,5 m RJ-45 Cat6 S/FTP fialový

The Lindy RJ-45 Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable, 0.5 m in length, is designed for reliable Ethernet connections compliant with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) standards. This Cat.6 cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for improved contact and signal transmission. The violet jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external noise, which supports consistent network performance in congested or electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance corrosion resistance and ensure stable contact. The 0.5 m length is practical for short patching runs between devices in racks, switches, and wall outlets, while the violet colour helps with cable management and quick identification.

Suitable for

• Patching between switch and server or workstation in rack installations
• Short Ethernet connections in offices, data centers, or telecommunication cabinets
• Network setups requiring minimized interference and reliable Gigabit speeds
• Environments where cable colour coding simplifies maintenance and organization

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the Cat.6 cable to the network port of your switch, router, server or workstation and the other end to the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; maintain bend radius recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Use the cable for short patch runs where a 0.5 m length provides a neat, low-tension connection.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit operation, pair this S/FTP Cat.6 cable with compatible Cat.6 or higher components and keep cable runs clear of high-voltage power lines. Use the violet colour to implement a colour-coded scheme for easier identification and maintenance in rack or cabinet installations.
