Sieťový kábel M-Cab 20m RJ-45 Cat5e sivý SF/UTP

The M-Cab 20m RJ-45 Cat5e Grey SF/UTP networking cable from EFB Elektronik is a 20 metre shielded twisted-pair cable designed for reliable wired network links in homes and offices. The cable uses Cat5e performance class wiring with SF/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable connections and reduce signal interference over longer runs.

Advantages

This SF/UTP cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables while remaining compatible with standard RJ-45 network ports. The 20 m length covers typical room-to-room and building-internal connections without additional patching. Gold-plated connector contacts help ensure low contact resistance and corrosion resistance for long-term signal integrity. The grey outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits professional and domestic environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between switches, routers and workstations
• Home networking for broadband internet and multimedia streaming
• Office desktop and VoIP phone cabling
• Patch cabling in small server or communications cabinets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e performance class suitable for Fast Ethernet and typical Gigabit LAN over short distances
• Shielding: SF/UTP (foil overall with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices—such as a router, switch, computer or IP phone—until the connector clicks into place. For best performance, avoid tight bends, kinks or running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines. If routing through trunking or conduit, ensure the cable is not compressed and maintain gentle curves. Test the link with a network tester or by verifying network connectivity and transfer speeds once connected.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e SF/UTP cable for general-purpose wired networking where reduced interference is desired. For installations requiring longer runs or higher bandwidth guarantees, consider higher-category cabling. Store and handle the cable to prevent sharp bends and connector damage; replace if outer jacket or connector housing is visibly damaged.
