Sieťový kábel ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC oranžový 7M

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CCA PVC Orange 7M is a 7-meter network cable designed for Ethernet connections up to 1000 Mbit/s. Constructed with copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors with AWG 26, the cable offers an economical solution for wired networks. It features U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall sheath) cabling suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and comes terminated with male RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The bright orange PVC jacket improves visibility and identification in installations.

Advantages

The cable provides a cost-effective balance between performance and price due to its CCA conductors and CAT5e specification. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve conductivity and resist corrosion. Reinforced strain relief and latch protection increase connector durability and secure installation. The 7 m length covers typical desktop-to-switch or patching runs while the orange colour aids cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Home and small office Ethernet connections
• Patch panels and switch-to-device links
• Temporary or visible cabling where easy identification is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 7 m
• Category: CAT5e
• Conductor: Copper-clad aluminium (CCA), AWG 26
• Cabling: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Data rates supported: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Standard: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Jacket: PVC, orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router) and the other plug to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors click into place with the latch protection engaged. Route the cable without excessive bending or tension and use cable ties or organisers to prevent strain on connectors. Verify link status on network devices to confirm proper connection.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5e CCA cable for standard Gigabit Ethernet runs within the same room or between nearby network equipment. For long permanent installations, high-performance backbones, or environments with strong electromagnetic interference, consider using solid copper or higher-category (Cat6/Cat6a) shielded cables.
