Sieťový kábel ROLINE 21.15.2608 sivý 15 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ROLINE 21.15.2608 Grey 15 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a 15-metre Ethernet cable designed for wired connections that require reliable high-speed data transfer and protection against electromagnetic interference. It uses Cat6 specification and S/FTP shielding to maintain signal integrity across longer runs and features RJ-45 connectors on both ends for compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for office or home installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Cat6 construction offers higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with earlier categories, helping to reduce packet loss and latency in typical network environments. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and ensure a ready-to-use connection without additional crimping or tooling. A 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices while maintaining a single continuous link.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, servers and network-attached storage to switches or routers
• Wiring office workstations and meeting rooms for Gigabit Ethernet
• Home networks requiring a wired backbone for streaming and gaming
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs where a 15 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to link until the connector latch clicks into place. Use the cable to connect network switches, routers, computers, or other compatible equipment. Avoid sharp bends and kinks along the cable run and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large electric motors to preserve signal quality. If routing through walls or conduits, ensure compliance with local building codes and use appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

For optimal performance maintain bend radii greater than four times the cable diameter, terminate connectors only at device ports, and avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power over long distances. Use strain relief or cable clips to prevent stress on the RJ-45 connectors and replace the cable if the jacket is damaged or shielding is compromised.
