Sieťový kábel S/CONN ShiverPeaks Cat. 7 S/FTP 3 m žltý

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 3 m in yellow is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding wired network environments. It combines Category 7 transmission characteristics with S/FTP shielding to reduce interference and maintain stable data transfer at higher frequencies. The cable comes with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold to ensure secure contact and reduce oxidation, while the 3 m length provides flexibility for desktop, rack, or wall-mounted setups where short to medium cable runs are required.

Advantages

This Cat. 7 S/FTP cable offers improved protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference thanks to its overall shield and individually foil-shielded pairs. The construction supports higher bandwidths and better crosstalk performance compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance conductivity and longevity, and the bright yellow jacket improves cable identification and organization in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks requiring high data throughput
• Office workstations and local area network (LAN) connections
• Server cabinets and patch panels where short-to-medium length cables are needed
• High-definition streaming, gaming, and VoIP applications

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 7 (S/FTP)
• Shielding: Overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs (S/FTP)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket color: Yellow
• Typical applications: Ethernet, Gigabit and multi-gigabit networks

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, network card or patch panel) and the other plug to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a reliable mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radii consistent with standard cabling practice to preserve signal integrity. For installations in cabinets or conduits, verify that the cable length and flexibility meet the physical routing requirements.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat. 7 S/FTP cable for short to medium runs up to 3 m in environments where electromagnetic interference may be present. Keep the cable separate from power lines and large electrical equipment to minimize potential noise coupling. Regularly inspect connectors for contamination and replace if mechanical damage or excessive wear is observed.
