Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 10 m zelený

The Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 10 m Green is a 10-meter network cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. Compliant with the Cat6a standard, this cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, providing stable connections for wired Ethernet devices. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for broad compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled equipment, while the green jacket makes cable routing and identification easier in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

SFTP shielding (shielded foil around twisted pairs plus an overall braided shield) improves resistance to external noise sources and minimizes crosstalk between pairs. The Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and extended frequency range compared with earlier categories, enabling reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet over suitable infrastructure. A 10 m length offers flexibility for connecting distant devices without intermediate extenders, and standardized RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with most network hardware. The colored jacket helps identify runs and maintain organized cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, servers and workstations to switches and routers
• Wiring networked AV equipment such as IP cameras and media players
• Home office and small business network installations requiring stable wired connections
• Cable runs in server rooms or networking closets where interference protection is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil shielding + overall braided shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 10 m
• Jacket colour: Green
• Suitable for: up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate infrastructure

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices you wish to connect, such as a computer and a switch or a router and a networked device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible, and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductors. For permanent installations, secure the cable using appropriate cable management accessories and maintain service loops where required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that your connected equipment and intermediate network hardware support the desired data rates (for example, 10 Gbps) and that patch panels or keystone jacks used in the link are rated for Cat6a. Keep the cable length within recommended maximums for the intended Ethernet standard and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power cables to reduce potential interference.
