Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 5 m sivý

The Sharkoon Patch Network Cable SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 5m Grey is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. It uses SFTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors to deliver reliable data transmission up to 10 Gbps over a 5-metre length. The cable’s Cat.7a specification and shielding reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making it suitable for dense or noise-prone environments in home and office installations.

Advantages

The cable provides stable, high-bandwidth connections with support for 10 Gbps data rates and is designed to maintain signal integrity through SFTP shielding. Durable RJ-45 connectors ensure secure plug-in connections, while the 5 m length balances reach and manageable cable routing. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance for professional or residential setups and the construction helps reduce packet loss and connection errors in electrically noisy environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home or office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, large file transfers and online gaming
• Wiring between network equipment in server rooms or wiring closets
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7a
• Shielding: SFTP (shielded foil twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Length: 5 m
• Cable colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port on your device (PC, switch, router or modem) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression; maintain gentle curves with a radius larger than the cable diameter to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For best results, avoid running the cable in parallel with heavy power lines for long distances.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.7a SFTP cable for links up to 5 m where 10 Gbps throughput and reduced interference are required. When installing in server rooms or structured cabling, label both ends and avoid tight bends; combine with compatible shielded connectors and properly grounded equipment to ensure the shielding is effective.
