Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 75712-AW CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, interiérový dátový kábel, 4-párový

ShiverPeaks 75712-AW CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF is an indoor 4-pair network cable engineered for high-performance Ethernet networks and structured cabling installations. The cable features individually foil-shielded pairs and an overall foil plus braid (S/FTP) shield that minimizes alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is suitable for data center backbone links, office LANs and PoE deployments requiring consistent signal integrity and reduced noise.

Advantages

The combination of pairwise foil (PIMF) and overall S/FTP shielding improves immunity to near-end and far-end crosstalk while providing protection against external EMI. As a CAT 6A cable it is rated for higher frequencies and bandwidth compared with lower category cables, enabling reliable 10 Gbps transmission over appropriate channel lengths. The halogen-free construction reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire, and the cable’s design supports stable PoE delivery and long-term signal performance in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections and high-speed LAN backbones
• Data center horizontal and rack-to-rack cabling
• Office networks and enterprise structured cabling
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices such as IP phones, cameras, and wireless access points

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil + braid with individually foil-shielded pairs (PIMF)
• Conductor configuration: 4 twisted pairs
• Intended use: indoor/structured cabling
• Fire safety: halogen-free outer jacket
• Supports: 10 Gbps Ethernet over standard channel lengths
• Typical applications: data transmission, PoE delivery, network backbones

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF cable following standard structured cabling practices: route the cable through appropriate cable management pathways, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling tension, and terminate with compatible RJ45 connectors or modular patch panels designed for shielded CAT 6A cabling. Ensure proper grounding of shields and continuity of the overall braid to maintain the cable’s EMI protection. Test each link with a certified cabling tester to verify performance parameters such as NEXT, return loss and insertion loss before putting the network into production.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable runs within defined channel length limits for 10 Gbps operation, maintain separation from high-power electrical lines to reduce interference, and use shielded connectors and grounded patch panels when deploying S/FTP cabling. Regularly inspect terminations and test links after installation or any rework to ensure sustained data throughput and PoE reliability.
