Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 75715-AG CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, možnosti pevného a lankového vodiča

Shielded network cable ShiverPeaks 75715-AG is a CAT 6A S/FTP cable with PIMF (Pair in Metal Foil) construction, developed for high-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps. The cable is intended for structured cabling in offices, data centers and backbone runs where improved alien crosstalk protection and reliable signal integrity are required. Available in solid and stranded conductor options, it supports PoE applications and is suitable for horizontal and backbone connections.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF design provides enhanced protection against external electromagnetic interference and reduces alien crosstalk, helping to maintain signal quality at higher frequencies. CAT 6A rating ensures performance for 10 Gbps Ethernet over typical installation distances. Solid and stranded conductor options allow selection for permanent installation or patching flexibility. The cable is suitable for environments that require shielded cabling for improved noise immunity.

Suitable for

• 10 Gbps Ethernet horizontal and backbone links
• Structured cabling in offices and data centers
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices
• Connections requiring improved alien crosstalk and EMI protection

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP with Pair in Metal Foil (PIMF)
• Data rate support: up to 10 Gbps
• Conductor options: solid and stranded variants
• Intended use: horizontal cabling, backbone runs, patching

How to use

Choose the conductor type according to installation needs: use solid conductors for permanent in-wall or ceiling installations and stranded conductors for patch cords or flexible connections. Terminate the cable with compatible CAT 6A shielded connectors or keystone jacks, ensuring the drain wire and foil are properly bonded to the connector shield or patch panel to maintain the shield continuity. Follow standard cabling practices for bend radius, separation from power cables, and proper testing after installation to verify link performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the cable in compliance with local cabling standards and maintain recommended bend radii and pull tensions. Use shielded connectors and ensure correct grounding of the shield at patch panels or outlets. Test installed links with a CAT 6A-capable tester to confirm 10 Gbps readiness and verify alien crosstalk and return loss metrics where required.
