Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 0,5m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 0.5m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is designed for short-distance, high-performance connections between network equipment. With Cat7 specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports reliable high-speed data transfer for compact setups in home and office environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and reduced signal loss, while the white jacket provides a discreet appearance that fits modern installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually screened pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Short 0.5m length minimizes signal attenuation for direct device-to-device connections where long runs are unnecessary. Gold-plated connector contacts improve corrosion resistance and maintain consistent conductivity over repeated insertions. The cable is built to the Cat7 category to support higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower-category copper Ethernet cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting a router to a nearby switch or modem
• Direct links between desktop PC and network interface
• Short patch connections in server racks or media cabinets
• High-speed connections for streaming devices and gaming consoles

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: white

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the devices you wish to connect — for example, router to switch, PC to modem, or networked AV device to a media player. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure a reliable connection. For best results, avoid tight bends near the connector ends and keep the cable clear of strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or power distribution panels.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5m Cat7 S/FTP cable when a short, high-quality link is required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power lines for extended distances, and do not exceed the recommended bend radius to preserve shielding integrity and connector reliability.
