Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S 10m Cat7 S/FTP oranžový

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 10m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. This 10-meter Cat7 cable uses S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain stable connections and reduce signal loss. The orange jacket provides clear visual identification in cable bundles and installations while supporting Gigabit and multi-gigabit network environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP design combines an overall braid with individually foiled pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs offer better contact reliability and corrosion resistance compared with standard plated connectors. A 10 m length balances installation flexibility with minimal excess cable, and the durable outer sheath protects conductors from mechanical wear and bending during routing.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7, S/FTP (overall braid + foiled pairs)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper conductors suitable for Ethernet (meets Cat7 electrical requirements)
• Colour: orange
• Shielding: full braid plus individual pair foil to reduce EMI and crosstalk
• Standards support: suitable for high-speed Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Route the cable between network devices such as switches, routers, PCs or NAS units, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils. Insert RJ-45 plugs firmly into matching ports until the clip locks to ensure a secure electrical and mechanical connection. For wall or rack installations, secure the cable with cable ties or clips to prevent strain on connectors and maintain bend radius. Test the link after installation using network diagnostics or a cable tester to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments where reduced interference and reliable throughput are required. Avoid running the cable in parallel and close proximity to high-voltage power cables or heavy electrical equipment to preserve signal quality. For permanent or concealed installations, verify that jacket material and routing meet local fire and building codes.
