Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable 7.5m provides a shielded U/FTP (STP) connection with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for reliable wired networking, this black Cat7 cable supports high-speed data transfer and reduces electromagnetic interference through individual foil shielding around each pair. The 7.5 metre length suits mid-range connections between network devices in home or small office environments and maintains consistent performance for Ethernet applications that require higher bandwidth and signal integrity.

Advantages

The cable's U/FTP shielding improves resistance to external noise and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, helping to preserve signal quality over the full 7.5 m length. With standard RJ-45 terminations, it is compatible with a wide range of switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The Cat7 specification enables support for higher frequencies and throughput suitable for demanding network tasks. Its flexible jacket and black finish allow straightforward installation and a discreet appearance in rack or desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between switches, routers and PCs
• Home and small office LAN installations requiring shielded cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers and streaming
• Patch cabling in server cabinets or structured cabling where EMI is a concern

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (individual foil around each pair) with overall shielding
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Black
• Conductor type: Twisted pairs (solid/stranded depending on termination type)
• Typical application: Ethernet LAN, up to multi-gigabit speeds where supported by equipment

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (for example a router or switch) and the other to the target device (PC, NAS, or another network device). Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to establish a secure link. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal integrity. For permanent or wall installations, use appropriate cable management and strain relief to prevent stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair the Cat7 cable with network equipment that supports multi-gigabit or higher bandwidth and maintain bend radius recommendations. When installing near power lines or heavy electrical equipment, keep separation or use additional grounding measures if required by local installation standards.
