Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) modrý, 1 m, RJ-45, zlaté kontakty

ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP) blue, 1 m, RJ-45, gold contacts is a 1-metre Category 7 network patch cable designed for high-performance wired Ethernet connections. The cable uses S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends feature RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable connectivity and improved corrosion resistance. The cable's blue jacket makes it easy to identify in structured cabling environments and patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable provides enhanced shielding compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer reliable mating and lower contact resistance for consistent data transfer. The 1 m length is convenient for patching between switches, patch panels and devices without excess cable slack, aiding tidy cable management.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches and patch panels
• Direct device connections to wall outlets or network ports
• High-speed LAN segments requiring Gigabit or 10 Gigabit capability
• Environments where additional shielding is needed to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 metre
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network switch, patch panel or wall socket and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device such as a computer, server or network appliance. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and compressive forces that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. Use cable ties or Velcro straps to secure the cable in a rack or along cable trays while maintaining appropriate bend radius.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable in installations where shielding is needed to preserve signal quality — for example, in racks with dense cabling or near sources of electromagnetic interference. For shortest distance patching, the 1 m length minimizes excess cable and supports tidy patch panel organization.
