Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S červený 1 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S networking cable is a 1 m Cat7 S/FTP patch cable with RJ-45 connectors designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed with individually shielded twisted pairs and an overall foil shield, this Cat7 cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference to maintain stable connections. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The cable's red jacket provides easy visual identification in crowded cable runs and equipment racks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines foil shielding around each pair with an additional overall shield to minimize interference from neighboring cables and external sources. As a Cat7 cable, it supports high bandwidths and is suitable for demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver low-contact resistance and enhanced durability compared with standard plating. The 1 m length offers a compact connection between nearby devices without excess slack, and the colored jacket simplifies organization and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches, and patch panels in LAN setups
• Short runs between desktops, NAS devices, and networked printers
• High-speed data transfers and applications requiring low interference
• Environments where cable identification and neat cable management are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually shielded pairs with overall foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 m
• Jacket color: red
• Conductor: stranded or solid conductor suitable for patch use (verify installer preference)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector securely into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, ensuring the latch clicks into place. Use the 1 m cable for direct connections where devices are close together—such as connecting a switch to a router or linking a desktop to a wall outlet—avoiding excessive bending or strain on the plugs. Route the cable to prevent sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference when possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within typical patch-panel or desktop patching scenarios and avoid running it parallel and close to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and ensure that panels and ports are rated for Cat7 or support backward-compatible Cat6/6a equipment. Choose colored cables like this red variant to simplify network identification and maintenance.
