Sieťový kábel shiverpeaks BASIC-S červený 3 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S networking cable is a 3 m Cat7 S/FTP cable with RJ-45 connectors designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent connection quality and corrosion resistance. The red outer jacket provides clear visual identification in multi-cable installations and a distinct appearance for desktop or rack setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs to provide improved protection against external interference and internal crosstalk compared with unshielded or simpler shielded cables. Gold-plated contacts enhance contact stability and long-term durability in repeated plug cycles. The Cat7 specification supports higher frequency transmission parameters suitable for demanding network environments, and the 3 m length balances reach with tidy cable management in office and home installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small office or home networks
• High-speed wired connections for desktop PCs, workstations and NAS devices
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is required
• Patch runs in server cabinets and structured cabling where a distinct cable color is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Conductor configuration: twisted pairs (shielded)
• Outer jacket color: red
• Typical supported frequencies: up to 600 MHz or higher depending on installation

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (router, switch, patch panel or NIC) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the connected device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to engage the latch and establish a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, excessive compression and sources of mechanical strain; maintain recommended bend radii for shielded twisted-pair cables. For installations in shielded environments, connect shield terminations according to your system grounding policy to preserve the intended EMI protection.

Recommendations

Use the cable for wired links requiring signal integrity in the presence of interference and where Cat7 performance is desired. Keep the cable free from sharp kinks, and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines when possible. For patching in cabinets, label both ends for easy identification and use the red color to mark specific network segments or critical connections.
