Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-35014 červený 0,5 m Cat7 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-35014 Red 0.5m Cat7 U/UTP is a short patch cable designed for high-speed wired network connections. With Cat7 specification and U/UTP shielding, this 0.5 metre cable supports modern Ethernet applications while offering a compact length suitable for patch panels, switches and closely spaced network devices. RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure reliable conductivity and reduced contact corrosion.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/UTP cable delivers data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and supports high-frequency transmission suitable for demanding network loads. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable signal transfer and resistance to wear, while the ultra-short 0.5 m length minimises cable clutter in dense equipment racks or desk setups. The red jacket improves cable identification and organization within network installations.

Suitable for

• Short connections between patch panels and switches in server rooms
• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to nearby network ports
• Linking network devices in home labs or small office setups
• Colour-coded cabling for easy identification and management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Jacket colour: red

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other connector into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click confirms engagement. Use the short length to route the cable neatly behind equipment or through cable management channels to reduce interference and ensure a tidy installation. Verify link lights on connected devices to confirm operational status.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension in the cable and keep it away from large sources of electrical interference. Use the red colour for consistent labelling in mixed-cable environments. If longer distances or additional shielding per pair are required, consider selecting a cable with different category or shielding appropriate for the installation.
