Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-40081 15m Cat8 S/FTP modrý

The ShiverPeaks BS08-40081 15m Cat8 S/FTP Blue is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. It provides full gigabit and multi-gigabit compatibility with Cat8 specification, using S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors fitted with gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Its 15 meter length supports flexible placement of networking equipment while the blue jacket identifies the cable within structured cabling systems.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to deliver improved protection against near-end crosstalk and external noise compared to unshielded alternatives. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer stable conductivity and reduced contact resistance over time. The Cat8 design supports higher bandwidths suitable for low-latency, high-throughput applications, and the 15 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical server room, office or home network layouts.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed uplinks and backbone connections in office networks
• Gaming and media streaming setups requiring low latency and high throughput
• Workstation and NAS connections that benefit from multi-gigabit speeds
• Structured cabling installations where shielded cabling is recommended

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8 network cable
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contacts: Gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Conductor: Twisted pair copper conductors
• Jacket color: Blue

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks Cat8 cable by plugging the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports of your devices, ensuring a secure latch click. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve shielding effectiveness. For rack or cabinet installations, use cable management accessories and maintain recommended bend radius to prevent conductor stress. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices after installation to confirm operational performance.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat8 cable in environments where interference or high data rates are present. For optimal performance, pair with shielded network interfaces and grounded patch panels; avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Test connections with appropriate network diagnostic tools when implementing multi-gigabit links.
