Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-41050 sivý 5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41050 Grey 5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for demanding network environments. Compliant with Cat8.1 specification and featuring overall foil with individually shielded pairs (F/FTP), the cable is designed to minimise crosstalk and external interference while supporting very high data throughput up to 40000 Mbit/s. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance, and the 5 m length offers flexibility for typical office, server rack or home networking layouts.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 F/FTP cable delivers low signal loss and strong EMI/RFI protection thanks to its full foil shield and individually shielded twisted pairs. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve conductivity and reduce oxidation over time, supporting stable high-speed transfers. With a 5 m length and a neutral grey jacket, the cable balances reach and tidy appearance for equipment runs between switches, routers, patch panels and workstations.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in data centers and server rooms
• 10G/25G/40G aggregation links and switch-to-switch connections
• Home offices and professional workstations requiring low-latency wired networking
• Patch panels, network racks and structured cabling installations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1, twisted pair cable with F/FTP shielding
• Data rate support: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 metres
• Jacket colour: grey

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router, patch panel or network interface and the other connector to the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain separation from high-power electrical cabling where possible to preserve shielding effectiveness. For best results, test link speed and duplex settings after installation to confirm the expected throughput.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium runs where high-frequency performance and strong shielding are required. Avoid repeated mechanical stress at connector ends and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines to maintain signal integrity and prolong cable life.
