Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat. 6 10m

The ShiverPeaks Cat. 6 10m networking cable is a 10-meter U/UTP Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, the cable offers stable electrical contact and reduced corrosion risk. The black jacket provides basic mechanical protection and a neutral appearance suitable for visible or hidden installations.

Advantages

This Cat. 6 cable supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed network applications. The U/UTP construction reduces near-end crosstalk and preserves signal integrity over the full 10 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent conductivity and lower contact resistance, while the 10 m length offers flexibility in equipment placement without the need for additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network switches in small office and home environments
• Wiring between routers and access points for stable wired backhaul
• Short runs within server racks or network cabinets where 10 m length is sufficient
• Replacing older Cat5e cabling to improve throughput and reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6 (Category 6)
• Length: 10 meters
• Conductor type: Twisted pair, unshielded (U/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Frequency rating: up to 250 MHz
• Jacket color: black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your device (PC, switch, router or access point) and the other end to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to achieve a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension or pinch points; maintain bend radius recommended for twisted-pair cables to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or high-voltage cables to minimize electromagnetic interference. Use cable management accessories to prevent kinking, and test the installed link with a network tester if precise link diagnostics are required.
