Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-85031007 Cat8 100m S/FTP 40000 Mbit/s modrý

The ShiverPeaks BS08-85031007 Cat8 100m S/FTP cable in blue is designed for high-performance wired networks that require very high bandwidth and low interference. This 100 meter cable supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and crosstalk interference, making it suitable for demanding home and office installations and backbone connections within network racks and data distribution setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually shielded pairs to provide enhanced protection against external noise and pair-to-pair crosstalk. With Cat8 specification performance, the cable supports high-frequency signals and is suitable for short-distance, ultra-high-speed links such as switch-to-switch, server-to-switch or distribution panel runs. Its 100 m length allows flexible routing across rooms or server closets without the need for multiple shorter segments. The blue jacket provides easy visual identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links (data center uplinks, switch-to-switch connections)
• Server room backbone wiring and patch panels
• Office LAN segments requiring minimal interference and high throughput
• Short-run, high-frequency applications where Cat8 performance is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8
• Length: 100 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (braided overall shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Nominal data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Color: blue
• Typical applications: high-frequency Ethernet, data center links, backbone wiring

How to use

Install the cable by routing it between network devices or patch panels, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Terminate both ends with compatible connectors and follow standard installation practices for Cat8 cabling, including maintaining proper grounding for shield termination to ensure effective EMI protection. Test the installed link with appropriate cable certification or network testing tools to verify signal integrity and throughput performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep run lengths within recommended distances for Cat8 deployment and ensure shield connections are properly made at both ends. Avoid routing the cable close to high-voltage power lines or strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal quality.
