Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS08-8605503 S/FTP Cat8.2 50m zelený

The ShiverPeaks BS08-8605503 S/FTP Cat8.2 networking cable is a 50 m green cable designed for high-speed wired connections in demanding network environments. Built to Cat8.2 specifications with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is suitable for installations that require low interference and stable performance over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The cable's S/FTP construction provides overall shielding plus individually foiled twisted pairs to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in congested installations. Compliance with Cat8.2 standard ensures support for very high bandwidths and low latency, while the 50 m length covers typical runs in offices, server rooms, and multi-room home setups. Its green jacket offers clear visual identification within cable trays or patch panels.

Suitable for

• High-speed connections between network switches, patch panels and servers
• Data centers and server rooms requiring shielded cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as 10G/25G/40G Ethernet over copper where Cat8.2 is appropriate
• Structured cabling in offices and professional installations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.2
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foiled pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Length: 50 m
• Colour: Green

How to use

Run the cable along cable management routes or through conduits, avoiding sharp bends and physical stress. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ45 connectors and shielded keystone jacks or use pre-terminated modules as required by your installation. Ensure proper grounding of shielded components and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Test each run with appropriate network cable testers to verify continuity, shielding integrity and performance at the intended data rates.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded connectors and grounded patch panels with this S/FTP Cat8.2 cable, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for copper high-speed links, and perform certification testing after installation to confirm bandwidth and shielding performance.
