Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75210-25H 25 m Cat5e F/UTP sivý

The ShiverPeaks BS75210-25H 25m Cat5e F/UTP Grey networking cable is designed to provide reliable wired connectivity for home and office networks. Constructed to Cat5e standards and fitted with foil-shielded twisted pairs (F/UTP), the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and supports stable data transmission for Ethernet networks up to Gigabit speeds where Cat5e performance is suitable. The neutral grey jacket offers a discreet appearance for rack, wall or floor routing.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding improves resistance to external electromagnetic interference, which helps maintain signal integrity in environments with nearby electrical equipment. The 25-metre length gives flexibility for connecting devices across rooms without additional couplers. Compliance with Cat5e performance parameters ensures compatibility with common network hardware and predictable throughput for typical LAN applications.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office workstation and printer connections
• Patching between switches and patch panels
• Temporary installations and relocations where a 25 m run is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e performance class
• Shielding: Foil shielded twisted pairs (F/UTP)
• Length: 25 metres
• Jacket colour: Grey
• Application: Ethernet LAN cabling

How to use

Route the cable from the network device to the switch, router or wall outlet avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise. Terminate the ends with appropriate RJ45 connectors or use pre-terminated plugs if provided with compatible connectors. Test the link after installation with a network tester to verify continuity and signal quality. For optimal performance, maintain proper pair untwisting limits when terminating and follow standard cabling practices for separation from power lines.

Recommendations

For installations in electrically noisy environments or where additional protection is required, consider combining proper grounding and cable management with the F/UTP cable. Use Cat5e-rated patch panels and connectors to preserve the cable's performance characteristics and verify link speed after setup to ensure expected throughput.
