Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75210-50S 50 m Cat5e F/UTP sivý

The ShiverPeaks BS75210-50S 50m Cat5e F/UTP Grey is a 50-meter network cable designed to meet Cat5e performance requirements. It uses F/UTP (foil-shielded, unshielded twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable Ethernet connections for home and office networks. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations or structured cabling runs.

Advantages

The foil shield around the twisted pairs helps reduce external interference and improves signal quality over medium distances. Cat5e specification support enables data rates up to 1 Gbps under proper network conditions and hardware. The 50 m length provides flexibility for typical room-to-room or rack-to-workstation cabling without the need for splicing. The grey outer sheath is durable and unobtrusive in most environments.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in small offices and homes
• Connecting routers, switches, network printers and desktop PCs
• Structured cabling for patch panels and wall outlets
• Temporary or semi-permanent installations where 50 m run is needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat5e, F/UTP (foil shielded pairs, overall unshielded)
• Length: 50 meters
• Color: Grey
• Conductor: Twisted pair copper
• Typical supported speed: Up to 1 Gbps (depending on network hardware and environment)
• Applications: Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit-capable links at appropriate distances

How to use

Measure the required run and route the cable avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or fluorescent ballast. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or punch down to keystone jacks/patch panels following Cat5e wiring standards (T568A or T568B). Test the assembled link with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs under recommended maximum lengths for Ethernet segments, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and use quality connectors and structured cabling components. If higher bandwidth or future-proofing is required, consider upgrading to Cat6 or higher standards.
