Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.5R-SET5

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-0.5R-SET5 is a 0.5 m Cat7 networking cable designed for short-distance connections in home and office networks. It features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and cross-talk, RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for stable signal transfer, and a durable outer jacket in vibrant red for easy identification within cable bundles.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference, supporting higher transmission quality. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent electrical contact over repeated insertions. The short 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable slack for neat installations, while the flexible jacket simplifies routing in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices over short distances (switch to patch panel, patch panel to wall outlet)
• High-speed Ethernet links where Cat7 performance and shielding are required
• Structured cabling installations that need color-coded short patch leads
• Home lab setups and small office workstations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: red
• Designed for: high-frequency Ethernet transmission and reduced interference

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks, and avoid excessive bending near the connectors. For reliable performance, use the cable for short patch connections within racks, between devices on the same desk, or to extend connections where a 0.5 m lead is appropriate.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large transformers. Do not exceed the recommended bend radius and avoid sharp kinks to preserve shielding integrity. Use color-coded short leads like this red cable to simplify identification in dense cabling environments.
