Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.5B 0,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-H0.5B 0.5m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact setups. Constructed to Cat6 standards with S/FTP shielding, this 0.5 metre cable supports high-speed data transmission while reducing electromagnetic interference. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent conductivity and low contact resistance. The blue jacket provides clear identification in patch panels and cable runs, suitable for both home and office network environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair and an overall foil shield improves signal integrity in environments with potential interference from other electronic equipment. Cat6 specification ensures support for Gigabit Ethernet and high-bandwidth applications over the short 0.5 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and reliable electrical contact over repeated insertions. The compact length reduces excess cabling and helps maintain tidy installations in racks, desks, and network appliances.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, routers and network ports
• Connecting networked devices in home or small office setups
• Use in data cabinets and patch panels where space is limited
• Temporary network setups, testing and equipment benches

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the device network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 0.5 m cable to make tidy, short-distance links between network equipment such as switches, routers, NAS devices or patch panels. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and keep the cable away from high-power mains cables to minimize interference. For installations inside cabinets or racks, route the cable along cable management channels to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, high-speed links where reduced EMI is important. Inspect connectors for debris before insertion and replace the cable if the jacket or connector latch is damaged. When deploying multiple cables, label each end to speed up maintenance and troubleshooting.
