Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75712-W 2 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75712-W 2m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed to support high-speed wired connections between network devices. With Cat6a performance and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain stable data transmission. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and comes in a white jacket suitable for visible installations in home or office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to preserve signal integrity over the full 2-meter length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts reduce contact resistance and resist corrosion, contributing to reliable long-term connections. The Cat6a specification supports higher data rates and bandwidth than lower-category cables, making it appropriate for modern networking needs. The white outer jacket offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance for desktop, wall, or rack installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and networked printers over short runs
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and file transfers
• Wired connections in home offices, workstations and small office networks
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on individual twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other to a switch, router or wall outlet terminated for Ethernet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the latch. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter for optimal performance. For installations near large sources of interference, verify proper grounding of connected networking equipment to complement the cable's shielding.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium-length runs up to 2 meters where higher bandwidth and protection from interference are needed. Match the cable with equipment rated for Cat6a performance to achieve the intended data rates, and inspect connectors regularly for secure seating and cleanliness.
