Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75713-W 3 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75713-W 3m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. This cable follows the Cat6a standard and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, supporting reliable data transmission over a 3 meter length. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable provides consistent connector contact and corrosion resistance while the white jacket offers a discreet appearance for visible installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually braided shielding for each twisted pair, improving protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance signal integrity and resist oxidation, while the Cat6a specification enables higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower-category cables. The 3 meter length offers flexibility for typical desktop, AV, or network closet connections without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections within 3 m distance
• Wired connections between routers, switches, modems, and desktop computers
• Home network setups and small office wiring where shielding reduces interference
• Audio/video streaming setups and media players requiring stable wired throughput

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device (router, switch, modem, PC or media player) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference whenever possible to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain bend radii consistent with manufacturer guidance. Use the 3 m length for in-room connections and reserve longer runs for permanently installed, wall-mounted, or conduit-protected cabling. If connecting to high-density equipment, verify port labeling and use cable management to prevent strain on connectors.
