Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75715-G 5 m Cat6a S/FTP zelený

The ShiverPeaks BS75715-G 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a reliable physical link for high-speed Ethernet connections. Designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet environments, the cable uses Cat6a performance class and S/FTP (shielded foil with braided drain) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over its five-meter length. The cable is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 plugs for consistent contact and corrosion resistance, and its green jacket helps identify and organize cables in multi-run installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers improved protection against near-end crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cable types, helping to preserve bandwidth and reduce packet loss. The Cat6a specification supports frequencies up to 500 MHz and is suitable for 10 Gigabit data rates at typical horizontal cabling lengths. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable electrical contact and resist oxidation for longer service life. The 5 m length balances reach and signal performance for many desktop or rack-to-equipment runs.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individual foil shielding)
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Frequency rating: up to 500 MHz
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps over typical horizontal distances
• Jacket color: green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port on your device and the other to a compatible port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain gentle bend radii and avoid running parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in environments where shielding is beneficial, such as near other electronic equipment or in structured cabling runs. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices if you do not achieve expected throughput, and replace connectors or cables that show visible damage. When grouping multiple cables, use color-coding like the green jacket to simplify identification and maintenance.
