Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75717-S 7,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75717-S 7.5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a robust physical connection for high-speed Ethernet networks. Constructed to the Cat6a standard with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports up to 10 Gbps data rates over suitable network equipment and reduces external electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ‑45 connectors featuring gold plating on contact surfaces to improve conductivity and resist corrosion, and its 7.5 meter length accommodates typical home and office layouts where extended reach is required.

Advantages

Cat6a performance combined with S/FTP shielding offers consistent signal integrity for demanding applications. The gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors enhance long‑term contact reliability and lower contact resistance. A 7.5 m length balances flexibility and reach without excessive cable clutter, and the cable’s construction is suitable for installations where reduced crosstalk and EMI immunity are important.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office desktops and workstation connectivity
• Connecting network switches, routers, and patch panels
• High‑bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming, and file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45
• Contact plating: gold‑plated contacts
• Data rate support: up to 10 Gbps under appropriate network conditions
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to 100 meters for Cat6a standards (actual performance depends on environment and equipment)

How to use

Insert the RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable to link computers, switches, routers, or patch panels as required by your network layout. For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as heavy electrical machinery or large unshielded power cables. When routing through cable trays or conduits, maintain proper bend radius and avoid compressing the cable to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For stable 10 Gbps operation, ensure connected network equipment (NICs, switches, patch panels) supports Cat6a performance and that total link length stays within recommended limits. Periodically inspect connectors for contamination and replace the cable if the jacket or shielding shows visible damage.
