Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 0.5m networking cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable connections in compact installations. Constructed to Cat6 standards, this grey cable uses S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to provide improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference for high-speed data transmission over short runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair and an overall foil shield reduce crosstalk and protect against external electromagnetic interference, improving data stability in environments with multiple cables or nearby electronic equipment. The RJ-45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent conductivity and resist corrosion. At 0.5 meters length, the cable is compact and suitable for neat patching between devices in rack-mounted or desk setups where minimal slack is required.

Suitable for

• Short-distance connections between network devices in patch panels or switches
• Connecting desktop computers, VoIP phones or network printers to local switches
• Use in office racks, server cabinets or compact networking closets
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and improved crosstalk protection

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance level
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall foil shield)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Application: Suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed LAN links over short distances

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the switch, patch panel or router port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the retaining clip clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks or heavy compression and keep it separated from power cables where possible to minimize interference. For rack installations, use cable management guides or short patch panels to maintain neat runs and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this 0.5 m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short-link, high-speed connections such as patching within racks or connecting nearby devices. Avoid exceeding recommended bend radii and maintain good grounding practices in shielded installations to ensure the shielding functions effectively.
