Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 10m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 10m networking cable provides a 10-meter connection designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic and crosstalk interference to maintain stable signal integrity over its full length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact, corrosion resistance and improved conductivity while the black jacket offers a discreet, professional appearance that fits into various setups.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimise external interference and internal crosstalk, supporting higher throughput and more consistent performance. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide secure, low-resistance connections and enhanced durability compared with standard contacts. At 10 metres, the cable balances reach and signal reliability for typical desktop-to-switch or patch-panel connections without the need for intermediate repeaters.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktops, laptops and networked peripherals
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small office and home networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming, online gaming and VoIP
• Structured cabling runs within racks, cabinets and under-desk routing

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 10 metres
• Colour: Black
• Suitable bandwidth: Up to Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and compatible with higher frequency Cat6 specifications

How to use

Insert the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power transformers or large motors. For rack or cabinet installations, secure the cable with Velcro or cable ties at regular intervals to reduce strain on connectors and maintain neat cable management. To disconnect, press the connector clip and withdraw the plug straight out to avoid damaging the latch.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within recommended length limits for Ethernet standards and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling force. When installing near potential interference sources, ensure proper grounding of networking equipment and consider additional cable routing or shielding measures. Periodically inspect connectors for dirt or corrosion and clean with appropriate contact cleaners if necessary.
