Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 1m networking cable is a one-metre patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pair plus overall braid) shielding, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain signal integrity in congested network environments. It is fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable's red jacket provides clear visual identification within patch panels and cabling runs.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable provides enhanced protection against external electrical noise thanks to its combined foil and braided shielding, making it suitable for installations near power lines or dense cabling. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve long-term electrical contact and reduce contact resistance. The 1 m length offers a compact, manageable solution for short links between switches, patch panels, and devices. The cable supports reliable data transmission and helps preserve network performance in typical office and home networking setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and patch panels over short distances
• High-speed Ethernet connections where shielding is required to reduce interference
• Server racks, patch cabinets and dense cabling environments
• Home and small office networks requiring clear cable identification

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil for each pair + overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 metre
• Color: Red
• Typical use: Ethernet networking up to Cat6 performance levels

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device or network equipment until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 1 m cable to link nearby devices such as a computer to a switch or a switch to a patch panel. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress on the cable to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For rack installations, route the cable along cable management paths to prevent interference and maintain neatness.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short runs where shielding improves signal quality; avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances and replace cables showing visible damage to the jacket or connectors.
