Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 2,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 2.0m networking cable is a 2-metre Ethernet lead designed for stable, high-speed wired connections. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) topology and fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable delivers improved protection against electromagnetic interference and reliable contact conductivity. Its yellow jacket provides clear visual identification for structured cabling in home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP design reduces crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain consistent signal quality over its 2.0 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve electrical contact and resist corrosion, supporting sustained throughput and reduced packet loss. The cable construction complies with Cat6 performance parameters for reliable gigabit-class networking and is flexible enough for typical cable runs between devices and network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops, or network switches to a router or patch panel
• Home networks where reduced interference and clear cable identification are desired
• Small office setups requiring stable gigabit Ethernet links over short distances

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Length: 2.0 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other connector into the router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain gentle curves around corners and use cable ties or clips to keep runs neat and strain off the connectors. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or heavy electrical equipment that may introduce interference.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium in-room connections where Cat6 performance is required. For permanent installations or longer runs, consider selecting an appropriately rated in-wall or longer-length cable and ensure compliance with local installation standards.
