Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 3 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat6 S/FTP 3m networking cable is a 3-meter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. It uses the Cat6 standard and S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and comes with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for stable signal transfer. The cable’s bright yellow jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels, racks or residential installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair and an overall foil shield improve noise immunity in environments with multiple cables and electronic devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer corrosion resistance and consistent connectivity. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with earlier generations, while the 3-meter length is practical for connecting devices within the same room or cabinet without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in office or home networks
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels in structured cabling
• Temporary or permanent connections in server rooms and telecom closets
• LAN gaming setups and streaming devices requiring stable wired links

Key specifications

• Length: 3 meters
• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded pairs with overall foil shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plug to RJ-45 plug
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: Bright yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector fully into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect until a click is felt. Ensure connected devices are powered and configured to use wired Ethernet where required. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and prevent interference with mains power lines; use cable ties or organizers to secure it in racks or along baseboards. For structured cabling, terminate and label both ends according to your site’s patching scheme.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking the cable or bending it sharply near the connector ends. Maintain separation from high-voltage power cables where possible and use shielded ports or grounded patch panels to preserve the effectiveness of S/FTP shielding in electrically noisy environments.
