Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 15m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 15m networking cable is a 15-meter unshielded/pair-shielded (U/UTP) Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance, the black cable supports reliable data transmission between networked devices. Its Cat 6 specification ensures performance suitable for fast local area network (LAN) environments and higher bandwidth applications where stable wired links are required.

Advantages

This Cat 6 U/UTP cable provides a balance of performance and flexibility for indoor network installations. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce contact resistance and improve long-term signal integrity. The 15 m length offers reach for connecting devices across rooms or between cabinets without intermediate patch points. U/UTP construction limits pair-to-pair interference while keeping the cable flexible and easy to route through conduits and cable trays.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between computers, switches and routers in home or office LANs
• Connecting network devices in server rooms and structured cabling runs
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP, and online gaming
• Temporary or permanent setups where a 15 m cable length is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 (Gigabit Ethernet capable)
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded overall, individually twisted pairs)
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Color: Black
• Compatible with: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and backward compatible with lower speeds

How to use

Uncoil the cable and route it along the desired path avoiding sharp bends and pinching points. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet port of your device until it clicks. For best performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large electrical motors or unshielded power cables. Use cable management accessories to secure the run and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For consistent Gigabit performance, ensure network hardware (switches, routers, NICs) supports 1 Gbps and that cable runs do not exceed recommended installation practices; avoid kinks and maintain minimum bend radius. In environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cable variants or shorter runs to preserve signal quality.
